Resolved Question: My African gray won't stop screaming?

I have a 5 year old male Congo African Gray. I have had him since he was 5 months old. He loves to talk and play games. He also loves making loud noises. We live in an apartment and I'm worried he's going to get us evicted. He has also caused my 3 year old daughter to suffer from severe migraines. He has 2 different beeps he does that he does as loud as he possibly can before his voice breaks. It makes our eye balls sting. He has tons of toys interactive and chew. I give him lots of different varieties of food. He is in the living room with us and is usually on the back of the computer cage where either me or my husband usually is. When we go out of the room we play a game of peek a boo which he loves. I go in another room to fold laundrey or whatever and he says in a sing song voice "wheres Mommy" I say "here I am" popping my head out of the door. The screaming has recently been even when we are in the room with him. I give him wads of paper to tear up. He just makes these noises over and over again. We even tried walking out of the room wherever he makes the sound. My husband, daughter, and I will stand up without saying a word or looking at him and walk out of the room until he quiets. Now He does it just to see us get up and down. Please help. He is like my child I don't want to have to decide between going homeless and keeping him. Oh, I have also tried a squirt bottle and it just makes him excited. He starts making water droplet sounds and screeching for more. We try covering him up and he is entertained for a small amount of time while he shreds the cover until there are holes big enough to see through. Once he had that full of hole we started putting him on the curtain rod in the bathroom with the door closed. I thought if he was in the dark he would go to sleep, but instead he talks happily to himself until he gets bored and then starts that high pitched beep again. We let his wings grow out so he can fly around the house freely. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Sorry about all the grammar issues. he's doing it right now and I can hardly think.oops. I didn't mean sit on back of computer cage. That is suppose to be computer chair. He is very seldom in his cage so we don't put a lot of toys in his cage. Fewer toys in his cage is also safer for his unclipped wings. We circulates the toys a couple times a week keeping the unused one on top of his play top cage. My husband and I both take him to the shower with us for a little stema bath. It's really cold here right now. He loves turning his water bowl into a bird bath also. I hate to clip his wings but perhaps I'll try that. more

Known to be the creator of Dynamite, Alfred Nobel revolutionized the construction industry with his invention. His invention made rock blasting, construction and demolition much easier. Alfred Nobel is also known for his support with the promotion of peace, and accomplishments in other areas such as Medicine, Chemistry, Economics, and Literature. His support for these accomplishments and peace came to be the Nobel Prizes. Alfred Nobel was born in Stockholm. His father, Immanuel Nobel, was an engineer and inventor that built bridges and building in Stockholm. He received private education along with his brother. He was fluent in many languages such as Sweden, Russian, English, and German. He had interests in Literature and poetry, along with Chemistry and Physics. My worst of 2008 starts in Dec. when the Rear Main oil seal goes out on my primary vehicle, we have 3 kids under 4 and the bus is NOT an option! I've been thinking of possible getting a Parakeet, its something I've wanted for a long time, but we have alot of other animals (2 dogs, a cat, a rabbit, and 3 fishtanks) So I'm not really sure we'll be getting one anytime soon. But every time i see on up on our local notice board i think about getting it.. But in reality i know i don't know anything really about them. We had 2 Cockatiels when we were little so thats really the only experience I've had personally with birds, all we really did with them is change there water everyday and give them birdseed, mom would change there papers in the bottom of there cage once or twice a week, i don't remember, and occasionally we would let them out, one would set on my shoulder for awhile and play with my hair, then they would fly up and sit on the curtain rod for hours, until it got late and mum would have to climb up there and get them and put them back in there cage. Anyway, someone on the local message board posted they have 2 male parakeets and cage for sale, $20.00. I'm tempted to ask my boyfriend for them for Christmas, but i don't even know, can two males live together ok? I know i wanted a male because i read somewhere that they are more likely to talk. But i never thought of getting 2 males, if they could live together that would be better right so they don't get lonely when were not home? i'm getting my first fly rod for christmas and i am having trouble understanding all the types of line you use. i usually fish using a spin rod so i only use on type of line. i just need help understanding the lines used. so its backing - fly line - leader - tippet right? also, what is the difference between leader and tippet, and what is the material the backing and fly line made out of. thanks for any answersthanks for the answers. also, do you have to have a tippet? more

Voting Question: Cummins engine two pistons melted (4th and 5th) on one side ?

Cummins engine NTA855 G4 Generator engine 6th cylinder sleeve (liner) piston & rings, conecting rod bush & bearing and gasket set replaced for water leak to the crank case. Then there was a knocking sound so replaced all 6 injectors. The generator stopped again suddenly after running for 4 hours. Today I opened the cylinder head and found the 4th and 5th pistons are melted down slightly (around 2mm deep on piston wall, 4th piston is to fly wheel side and 5th is to front side) and damaged the bore. B.T.W. 'Sony has a Dream' is the show that was called 'Welcome to Mollywood' on Disney Channel. Here's the story line for the first season: Mr.Shoners applies for a job in California and the family has to move from their cozzy house in Florida to San Diego, California. It's the last week of school and Kenzie,Skip,and Chrissy get transferred to San Diego High School. Kenzie, a freshman has troubles with friends/boys. Chrissy, a junior fits in quickly with her acting/singing skills. And Skip, a sophmore fits in with the crowd because of his charm and looks. Kenzie is a champ in softball. While school's been flying by the past week she meets another softball player named Samantha Collins. They both become friends really quickly. After school, they both hang out playing catch and hitting softballs. Max Baker, another freshman is the most popular guy in school and is the school's baseball captain. His best friend Craig Collins, a freshman is Sammy's brother and also plays for the baseball team. Alexis Smith is also a freshman and is the captain of the cheer squad. She's been dating Max since the begining the year. Here's the story line for the first episode: When school's over for the year and summer vacation breaks out practically everyone in the school attends Camp Sport Star except for Chrissy who has the dream of acting, she attends TFT (Theatre For Teens). Counsler Mark coaches the boys baseball team for summer camp. Counsler Tiff coaches the cheer squad. Mr.Andrew is the head of the camp and he makes all the activites. For the past summers, there hasn't been any girls who wanted to be on the softball team, so, they took it out of the activity list. When Sammy and Kenzie get to camp they are shocked that there's no softball for girls. They do everything in their power to get it back. By the end of the first episode Mr.Mark brings it back. Max starts to fall for Kenzie. Chrissy gets a lead in the play at her camp called "Secrets of a Teen". Skip finds a girl friend named Ellie. Is it too much like it? Anything I can take out? I will be joining some flying school next year for a CPL license and i thought i can practice myself on Instrumental rating and I refer to Rod Machado's practical flying lessons and now you guys believe me or not, I can fly a Cessna like a pro, I can do high precision ILS approach, Holding pattern to a VOR of NDB, and can maintain speed, altitude and heading without much effort or even no effort. But lately one of my 'pilot' friends said u should not devote yourself to Microsoft flight simulator because it will destroy your skills for real flying. But the most embarrassing part is that i was told this when i most believed the simulator in improving my flying because I felt my own flying so magically improved with no more wagging altitudes, speeds and heading and great VOR and best ILS approaches I ever made or something I call really marvelous. But what i don't understand is why he says it will do much damage than good. Please tell me friends something sensible. more

So, hey, guys. Newbie here...but, I’ve been wondering about one thing. Living alone these days since my old lady ditched me for a correction officer. Anyhow, my place got really filthy and I needed someone to clean. I went to Tijuana and a met a 40-something senora who promised to clean and live in my garage for food (and benefits.) It was working out pretty good, but then she disappeared on me. She didn’t take any of my guns or anything. I was perplexed. I thought I gave her a pretty good life. I left food out for her. Then today, I was looking for my fly rod, I opened up the garage, and there she was, dead. I didn’t know that I accidentally locked her inside the garage which can only be open from the outside.
