Resolved Question: Sony KDL-37XBR6 60hz or 120 hz?

So I've been looking for a quality 37 HD TV specifically for gaming, this one came up with good reviews and at a decent price. I'm having some trouble with the specs though. From what I've read (feel free to correct me) I'm looking for 120hz, to minimize blur, and a high contrast ratio in a gaming HDTV. So I go to bestbuy where the guy tells me all the XBR6 series are 120hz, and the guy at circuit city tells me the 37in and smaller are all 60hz. Can't find the specs on the official Sony website, but on some sites I've found it says it's 60hz. Wondering if anyone knows for a fact what it is, and if it is 60hz how it affects game play (specifically for xbox360). Thank you more

Every time I try to play the Sims 2, I enter an neighborhood and there is no colour. The neighborhood is white and the plum-bobs and everything has really bad graphics. When I go into a house, the graphics are horrible and everything is white, just like in the neighborhood. I occasionally download things off the official Sims 2 website, is that why it happens? I was having my bathroom remodeled in PA. I looked on the website for my city and it said nothing about a bathroom needing a permit. My contractor said that I should not need one since I am not changing the structure but only pulling out a tub and putting a new one in and also a new sink. Well after 2 days of work, my nice little neighbor across the street called the inspector who came down and immediately accused me of illegal construction. He was very rude from the get go. I was shocked so I asked what I needed to do? He said I needed to have the contractor stop and he could fine me $2000 a day and hold the permit for 30 days which would cost me $60,000. I said in a shock, you mean a fine? And he said, "oh so you want to be fines do you!" and he said something on his nextel. I said no, that's not what I meant! I just want to get this resolved! Why are you being such a dick? I asked. He said, oh, are you threatening me, I will call 911 if I have to. Then he proceeded to scream at the top of his lungs that my neighbors must hate me! He screamed this. At that moment, my guy came out and he seemed to calm down. Was he treating me different because I was female? I asked him where I needed to go to get the permit, and all he would say was, I dunno, I dunno. Basically playing stupid. My guy then talked to him and said he would be back. So he went down and filed the permit. It has been 2 days and when I call down there, the lady says it is still in the bin and they just haven't gotten around to it. My bathroom is half apart and I have kids! We haven't bathed in 3 days but I am afraid to do anything because these guys could make it worse for me I feel. I have drywall and materials in my living room. It would be done by now if it wasn't for this! What can I do??? I heard these people can make your lives a living hell. I would like to not take it but fight back against unprofessional behavior and retaliation. I just want the permit so I can get on with it and get my bathroom finished. My house is almost inhabitable which is what the inspectors office seems to be doing to me. I thought they were there to protect us as public officials?I heard back from another PA official that is a code enforcer. For my type of repairs, I don't need a permit. he said the inspector is way out of line and that I should speak to the mayors office. Like I said, I checked on their website and it said nothing of the sort. he then asked me why I did the work without asking though head of time about the permit. I said I had a leak behind my tub and I wanted it fixed ASAP. He then said, ahh that is an emergency repair, as long as you apply for a permit withint 3 days of the emergency work being started, you should be ok. So on Monday I am going down to talk to the supervisor and explaining my situation and if they could speed the permit along. This guy helping me said to consinute on with the bathroom up to the point of leaving the drywall un mudded and the GFI in place. They will inspect sheetrock screws (are there enough, and the electrical for the GFI. Once done, they will sign off and I can do the rest without a permit.Oops, meant to say, if they have any local amendments to PA state law, that is what they would be. So just play it safe but if I request a permit within 3 days of emergency work, I should be ok. I had to put drywall up so the kids dont get electrocuted while trying to take a bath.Also, I will be filing a complaint about this inspectors behavior and I will be requesting another inspector. I was even told that I could file an assault charge against this guy for his behavior and even do a restraining order which will not look good on him. Most likely he has other complaints against him that the city already is well aware of. This guy just had a God complex. more

People will be less likely to suspect Obama of bad intentions then they would Clinton and he can better persuade us, it is real and call to service and doom. I believe some of this was foretold in revelations and I have a bad feeling about this..if it is truly voluntary that is well and good and admirable but if it is designed to lead to more, god help us. I started reading Twilight recently and Im loving it, I took a peak on the movie website to see how Edward should look, and since the book is in first person, I picture myself as Bella.:P At first it was fun, I didnt fall completely in too deep but then today out of curiosity I checked the official movie site. I know for a FACT the first day I started reading the book, that I would never see the movie because books are more magical and in your imagination, I can be Bella, I can see things differently. But when I saw the little commercial preview online its made me upset all dayy today that I couldnt even read today. The girl they picked to play Bella isnt even that pretty, Im not just saying that cause Im jealous I mean shes just average and I CANT STAND to see Edward and her all over each other. Now that I saw the preview it also made it seem more realistic, before I knew it was my imagination but now that I actually saw some it makes me jealous and depressed that Ill never have that. I've been experiencing this deep feeling inside me, this empty nothingness, and I just want to curl up and die. (I do realize that you are thinking that I've gone medically insane). But because of Edward, I realize I may not feel something like that for any guy, no matter how good looking or charming he is.
